"Turn to Dust, lol, I wrote this song when I had covid towards the end of 2022. I was locked in the basement because none of my roommates had caught it yet (they never did end up catching it from me, either) and I had nothing better to do than watch movies and write songs. I honestly don't remember writing this one, I had a really high fever for a day or two, and by the end of it there were about 20 scraps of paper strewn about the room. Each one had a line or two scribbled on it, and most of them were pieced together to make the lyrics for this song.

So this one tells a part of the story of Interview with the Vampire, specifically drawing inspiration from the 1994 movie. Told from Louis' point of view, focusing on the pointlessness of life when that life is so empty, and the fierce revenge swiftly served after the single happiness he was able to find dissolved in front of his eyes."
